… Ms. Jill Scott representing North Philly! I first heard of Jill Scott on “You Got Me” from The Roots’ “Come Alive” album. My freshman year at Howard she dropped “Who Is Jill Scott, Vol 1″ album, and I’ve been a fan ever since. I’ve now seen her in concert four times with a unique experience each time. I love artists who excel in live performances, and Jill always takes it to the next level.
Midway through the show she switched it up and put a wig on…
Kem was one of three opening acts. Admittedly, I don’t know his music beyond his radio hits, but I would definitely see him in concert again.

Today is the first day of summer, and I wish I was at the beach right now.
