I’ve really been neglecting my Instagram the last few months.  One of my photography goals is the post more on my IG feed.  You can follow me @renelmedia.

Yesterday I visited the African Art Museum, Freer Gallery of Art, and the Sackler Gallery for the first time.  They were all pretty cool, but I couldn’t take photos in most of the exhibits (womp).  I walked out of the museum into the Moongate section of the Haupt Garden, which is adjacent to the three museums and the Smithsonian Castle.

I love the symmetry of this gate!  The Moongate Garden was inspired by the gardens and architecture of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, China.
