I can’t wait for this year’s Cherry Blossom season!
In 1957 this Japanese Pagoda was given to the District of Columbia as a gift from the mayor of Yokohama, Japan.

The cherry blossoms bloomed really early due to the exceptionally warm weather. I’m glad I was able to see the cherry blossoms last week because it rained over the weekend and knocked the blooms off the trees.
There were several news crews doing live shots. Their lights are illuminating the blossoms.
