About Me

Renel Holton was born and spent her younger years in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Howard University’s  School of Communications, where she majored in Television Production.

Renel developed her love of video production, photography, and graphic design while in high school at the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School (Massachusetts). It was during this time that Renel formed her own production company, Renny Bear Pictures, later renamed Renel Media.

Renel has worked and interned at various media companies including Discovery Communications, Presentation Services, GlassHouse Radio, and CNN. As a freelance designer, Renel has created web and print designs for Reservations Magazine, Jazzy Wings LLC, C-Squared Properties LLC, and GlassHouse Radio.
